In Troop 606, we believe that the Boy Scout program is great fun, but it is filled with a purpose. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Boy Scouts is to help boys grow into good citizens who are strong in character, physically fit, at ease outdoors, and good stewards of our environment. Our Troop is boy-led, with adult leaders providing support and encouragement. Our Troop leadership’s goal is to provide your son and family with the highest quality scouting experience in a fun, but structured and safe environment.
The BSA recognized the quality of our program by awarding our Troop the Gold level of merit in Scouting’s Journey to Excellence Performance Recognition Program.
We are located in Irvine, California, are chartered by the University United Methodist Church, and are part of the Rancho San Joaquin District of the Orange County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We have great programs for boys age 11-17.
Troop 606 meets every Monday at 7:15 p.m. at the University United Methodist Church — if you are interested in joining our Troop, please feel free to attend a Troop meeting or just fill out the form at this link to get in contact. We’d love to hear from you!
